An impossible dream 02/25/2009
In all my workshops -- the 12-hour ones that turned into Wishcraft, and the 3-hour ones I do for public TV and IBM and everybody else -- there's a point at which I demonstrate the Idea Party. Someone at the Memphis public TV station workshop reminded me last time of an amazing session we'd had at the previous workshop: CommentsThu, 26 Feb 2009 03:59:59 I love your stories and your work, this one made me cry. Glad you are blogging! Stef Sat, 28 Feb 2009 02:46:04 ehi Barbara, I am a fan since discovered your books. Actually, I started with "I could do anything if I knew what it is" Sat, 28 Feb 2009 13:32:10 Blessings,Babara! Sun, 01 Mar 2009 21:16:50 Never attended an idea part, but have borrowed concepts and used them within a group therapy setting. Brilliant stuff. Kathleen Baer Thu, 05 Mar 2009 20:49:56 Isolation truly is the dream killer. Thank you so very, very much for that statement. I read your books years ago and have periodically gotten groups together to do idea parties and they have been very successful, but until recently I didn't realize this is what I am supposed to be doing and that the reason I couldn't get it done was that I was trying to do it all alone. That absolutely did not work for me. Fri, 06 Mar 2009 12:08:03 Wow. So THAT'S what I need to do every now and then when I get stuck. Mon, 23 Mar 2009 08:50:43 This is so wonderful to read. I had a similar experience with Wishcraft and I buy a copy and give it to everyone I know. :> Mary Wed, 12 Aug 2009 17:37:56 I wish I had known when you were in Memphis, since I live in the city. I bought Wishcraft years ago, but am only starting now to get into it with sincerity. It's tough but worth it. Donna Sat, 17 Oct 2009 06:35:54 So inspiring. For so long I have been watching from the sidelines, sharing the joys of others vacariously, daring not to dream that I too can have all my blanks filled, that there is immediate help.
