Barbara Sher's Wishcraft

Wishcraft changed the course of my life.  Many years ago, I was  
plodding along editing chemical engineering books, but I really wanted  
to work on Special Events.  I read Barbara's book  Wishcraft and as  
Barbara suggested, created a "side dish," volunteering at celebrity  
events.   It made me very happy, and I gained the courage to leave my  
"safe" job and look for a full time event job-- which I found within one  
year.
